Job description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing engineering team. As a QA Engineer at Hirelane, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hiring platform. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and test new features and improvements.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Identify and report bugs and issues, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them
Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and identify test cases
Write clear and concise bug reports and provide feedback on user experience
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for software testing and quality assurance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in testing web applications and APIs
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium or TestComplete Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
